During the War

Today I picked up a pen and drew a few things… actually three drawings. It has been a while since I made Lois and Im pretty sure thats the last time I drew something. So after sketching I decided to draw something on Corel Painter to try a few things out since Im still trying to understand how painting works without making a mess out of the whole thing.

Well ends up I made a mess again so I grabbed the felt pens and color pencils and started sketching again. I had a picture of a guy that I really wanted to sketch.. and next thing I know I was looking at the Royal Knight. but it was too sketchy and I wanted to do more to it, at least add some color. So I took a paint brush and bang!

I screw the whole thing up.

~Load the image back up… “hmm lets try not to mess around too much, lets see try this brush instead.. nope. how about… nah that looks terrible.. what about this! oh that can work but… what? i can’t fix the layers the way I want them?!! what the heck! how did the canvas get in there!! oh screw it!”

so gave up Corel Painter and I took it to Photoshop to add what I wanted… The problem was that I was working on corel as if I was working on PS… big mistake. Well but it came out somewhat decent. I spent about 1hr 1/2 and I was trying different stuff most of the time. I really didn’t have anything clear as before.

So here is the same knight as before. This time he’s on the past, fighting the war where he lost his friend. Im not sure if I want to add or change anything to it.. its not as cool as I wish it was but whatever :] next project will be better…hopefully

  1. Amazing! I feel like copying all that pics and write hell stories on the depth that has been slipped from the tips of your fingers. Seeing the depth, i think your fingers must have grown very old, shaky and awful :D
